Feng Shui Your Website

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Cyberspace today mimic the real world so accurately that it is not surprising that many are resorting to feng shui to create a great website. The general principles of feng shui advocate the harmonious flow of energy of Chi with your surroundings. In real life, premises with good feng shui co-exist with its surroundings, harnessing good chi that in turn bring good luck and good fortune.

The same feng shui principles can also be applied to websites. Websites, as we all know, are virtual real estates. If you own a good website with established contents and traffic flow, or if you happen to own a popular domain name, the value of the websites can go up to millions of dollars.

The first feng shui tip can be use in choosing the name of your domain. You must never have a domain name that has a hyphen in it (e.g. feng-shui-tips-today.com). Besides the obvious fact that hyphens takes a little more effort to type on the keyboard, the hyphens represent mini poison arrows slicing through your website name. This is very inauspicious and extremely bad feng shui. Instead, opt for a simple website name without hyphens (e.g. fengshuitipstoday.com). This practice can be observed from the websites in the Alexa rankings (it's a ranking of websites based on traffic). Not one of the top 100 sites in the world has a hyphen in their domain name. Feng Shui to Prosperity

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

How well do you know feng shui? Well, the Chinese were the first ones who established this concept and philosophy. Back then, they used it as part of their burial rituals. They think that there is a natural way of arranging things in harmony with the surroundings. They thought that there is the pattern of flow of energy in the universe and one can use it to promote prosperity and to improve one's well-being.

The Chinese have a great belief in the art of placement, which is popularly known as feng shui, and this has become a part of their lifestyle. When they want to build their house, decorate a room or rearrange the furniture, they use feng shui to let the positive energy flow freely. The world is composed of energy. In the concept of feng shui, there is that invisible energy called chi, which is surrounding us. However, not all chi is positive.

There is also negative chi and feng shui's goal is to decrease or prevent the creation of negative energy in a certain space. Feng shui experts say that sharp angles across a room or house can trigger the creation of this negative energy, thus it should be refurnished or countered. Moreover, feng shui deals with colors, shapes, and sounds as well. Many people have been using the feng shui tips and admitted that it has significantly brought them good luck. Aside from that, it has given them prosperity in their relationships with business and other people. (more…)

Do this as you drive toward the house. Observe the roads around the house.

There should be no roads pointing directly into the house. The house should be at the concave bend of the road; i.e. the road should bend around the house rather than away from the house. The house should not be at the dead end point of the road. Roads that completely encircle the house, is inauspicious. The house should not have roads on more than 2 sides. Roads may not be found at both front and back of the house. Houses near fast roads, like highways, train tracks, airport runways are very inauspicious. Avoid houses near steep, heavy-traffic roads. Avoid houses under or near flyover bridges. (more…)

Feng Shui Tips For Office – Ways to Make Your Work Space Feng Shui
